This piano is in the process of being rebuilt and refinished. The (6'4 1/2")piano size is no longer made by Steinway. These pianos were made only from 1914-1942 and there are very few available. The A-III Steinway is very sought after because it sounds nearly as good as a 7' Steinway "B". This piano is in the process of restoration. 

Restoration includes:

• New Sound Board and bridges
• New Pin Block
• New highest quality keys (key sticks)
• Beautifully restored original ivory key tops
• New German Renner Wippens
• New Hammers, Shanks and Flanges
• Semi-Satin closed pore hand rubbed lacquer finish
• Concert action regulation and concert tone regulation
• Action weighed off to Steinway specifications, 52 grams down weight, 30 grams up weight and at 9-10 grams friction

The price is $49,900.00, this model is no longer made in New York.  The smaller 6'1" A-II is currently made today and costs $81,000.00.
