Like New 6’1″ Kawai GS-40 Grand Piano – Polished Ebony – For Sale

Since 1927, Kawai pianos have led the way in terms of innovation and lasting quality. This beautiful Kawai GS-40 Grand Piano measures 6’1″ in length. Boasting a full, clear quality of tone, it is no wonder that Kawai instruments continue to be among the top ‘big three’ names at piano competitions. This GS-40 features a finely crafted wood action with ABS-Styran black jacks for lasting durability and stability. The hammers are made out of natural, hard pressed felt on lightweight mahogany moldings. (Much like the hammers we prefer for our premium restored Steinways.) Our piano technicians have completed extensive action and tone regulation (voicing) to bring out the very best from this piano.

The belly of the piano consists of a solid clear spruce soundboard, a multi-grip laminated pinblock, solid brass agraffes, and a V-Pro cast iron plate. The interior of the piano has been cleaned and prepped to bring it back to like new condition. This GS-40 Grand Piano produces a warm, yet clear quality of tone that is very pleasing to the ear.

Enclosed in a clean, modern cabinet design with rich brass hardware this piano is a fine addition to any setting. The cabinet features a beveled lid edge, built in brass lid locks and a multi position lid prop system. Our piano refinishers have spent many hours cleaning and polishing the polyester ebony finish to ensure a like new look. This piano was kept in a stable home environment all of its life and it is obvious that it was well cared for and ‘babied.’

This piano includes a matching bench, a premium House of Troy piano lamp, free local ground floor delivery and a three-year warranty from Chupp’s Piano Service. Visit our Goshen, IN. Showroom today to play this piano next to a new Kawai GE-30, a new Kawai GX-3 and several new Kawai K-Series Professional Uprights!
