Player pianos saw their popularity skyrocket during the early 20th century. The ability to switch on a device and listen to live music in your own living room was very appealing. Early player pianos utilized a complex system of pumps, bellows and stacks of music rolls. This required the piano to be specially built to accommodate the huge amount of player mechanism parts. These early systems were very complex and not very adjustable beyond some simple volume control. Due to the vast amount of room required within the case, many piano makers had to construct out sized cabinets based around their existing scale designs. The Next Generation of Player Piano Technology

The PNO3 system stores all of its vast music library internally – negating the need for stacks of tapes and discs. This means that you can also play music without relying on a continuous internet connection. Full control of the piano can be executed from ANY WiFi capable device and is not limited to one brand or operating system. QRS uses longer, duly encases solenoids with Teflon impregnated solenoid plungers. Ipad, iPhone, laptop control and more is available to you. This delivers more accurate control over the range of motion and they resist corrosion and are self-lubricating. A longer plunger and solenoid also means more accurate dynamic control in the music. All of the mechanical components are machined to exacting tolerances for a long life of precise service. The PNOmation (Pianomation) system is the only system that since its introduction has offered a migration path to the latest technology.

The Sync-Along Feature

A high-quality speaker that is mounted underneath the piano plays the vocals or other instrumental parts. The volume levels of both the accompaniment and the piano itself are fully adjustable.
