1990 Yamaha MX100B Upright Piano Disklavier #4908224 – Ebony – Excellent
Yamaha has become one of the most beloved piano markers in music history. The coupling of industry-leading manufacturing techniques with old-world craftsmanship has won them a near-permanent place in the hearts of pianists the world over. Manufactured in 1990, Yamaha MX100B features a 48″ U1 style scale design. What makes this instrument unique is placed within the extra two inches of cabinet height – a fully integrated Disklavier player piano system! The Disklavier system is in fully functional condition and can easily be upgraded to utilize the latest media playback methods. The instrument includes TWO front cabinet panels! A crystal-clear acrylic panel allows you to view the player system in action or watch the hammers rise and fall as you play the piano yourself. Additionally, a traditional matching ebony front panel is included. This was never used by the original owners and was only removed from the packaging by our team to ensure its like-new condition.

The instrument is in truly excellent condition. Purchased new by a local family, this instrument received loving care in a low-use home environment. Upon inspection by our piano technicians, we found this instrument to have very little wear both cosmetically and mechanically. It could easily be mistaken for a new piano! This vertical piano features Yamaha’s balanced action, spruce keys, solid copper wound bass strings, high-quality music wire, a V-Pro plate, a solid spruce soundboard, hammerheads pressed of high quality felt, the integrated Disklavier player piano system, and much more. Yamaha upright pianos are well respected for their clear quality of tone, high level of performance, and lasting workmanship.
