The Steinway & Sons Model B ‘Parlor/Semi-Concert’ Grand Piano is one of the most popular instruments ever crafted by any piano maker. Measuring just under seven feet in length, these instruments have found homes in artists’ homes, performance venues and other professional settings all over the world. These pianos continue to be built at both the New York and Hamburg Steinway Factories.
Steinway Model B Grand Piano #558689 was built in 2001 at the New York Steinway Factory. This piano is in excellent, original condition and is ready for you to purchase and play. The piano’s action has been expertly regulated and voiced to bring out a responsive, fluid touch and a powerful, rich quality of tone.
Finished in a satin ebony lacquer, the piano’s cabinet has been expertly rubbed out by our piano refinishers to bring it back to a virtually ‘like-new’ condition. Matched with brass hardware, this piano boasts a classic, imposing design. The original solid spruce factory Steinway soundboard is in pristine condition and is free from any unwanted cracks or separated ribs. The original hard maple pinblock grips each tuning pin tightly for consistent, stable tuning.
