1995 STEINWAY MODEL M GRAND PIANO #535387 – EBONY – ORIGINAL CONDITION
A staple of both the New York and Hamburg Steinway & Sons factories, the 5’7″ Model M Grand Piano has grown to become one of the most popular instruments ever crafted by this legendary piano company. Production of these instruments began at the New York Steinway Factory in 1911 and since then, these ‘baby’ grand pianos have become incredibly popular in both home and institutional settings. The Model M offers a sought-after balance between power, tone, and size that few comparable instruments can match. Steinway & Sons Model M #535387 was crafted in 1995 and was sold to a private owner in Michigan in October of 1997. This one-owner piano is in exceedingly good condition. The instrument features a traditional square-arm cabinet finished in a rich satin ebony. The cabinet sits on spade legs that terminate in solid brass casters. This instrument includes the matching Jansen Artists Bench with official Steinway insignia adorning each adjustment knob.
The piano’s action is all original and features the original Steinway Factory action parts. Our expert piano technicians have completed a full regulation. This ensures a responsive touch and a rich, ‘Steinway’ quality of tone. The belly (interior), like the rest of this Model M, is original. The factory-installed solid-spruce soundboard is in pristine condition and the hard-maple pinblock grips the nickel-plated tuning pins tightly for a stable tune.
