Square Grand Pianos are an important part of modern piano development. Square Grands were incredibly popular during the 18th and 19th centuries and a vast number of them were sold. Mechanically different than modern pianos of today, these instruments contributed a number of advancements that are still in use today. Steinway Square #41991 was delivered to a Brooklyn, New York client in 1880. Fully restored and refinished, this rosewood piano is a wonderful living example of an important piece in the development of today's modern instruments. This piano was sold to a client in Georgia. Sold: 1914 Steinway Hamburg Model D Grand Piano | Rosewood
This fully rebuilt Hamburg Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand Piano was originally manufactured in 1914. Featuring a stunning and rare Brazilian Rosewood veneer, this concert level instrument is an excellent example of golden age Steinway & Sons factory quality. This instrument was fully rebuilt and restored by Chupp's Piano Service and was sold to a private client.
Sold: 1911 Steinway Hamburg Model D Grand Piano – Rosewood
Hamburg Steinway Grand Pianos are beloved for their distinctive tone and incredibly high quality of workmanship. Built in 1911, this Model D Concert Grand was built at Steinway's Hamburg factory and is a perfect example of historic 'golden era' Steinway quality. Fully restored, this piano features a new solid spruce soundboard, fully rebuilt action, original ivory keytops and much more. This piano’s art case cabinet is in a figured Brazilian Rosewood veneer that is sure to make it a visual and musical centerpiece in any room it is placed in. This piano was sold to a private client in Japan.
