Kawai KG-1D Grand Piano #1443934P | Polished Ebony – Excellent Condition
Crafted in 1983, Kawai KG-1D #1443934P exhibits all of the traits expected of an expertly built Kawai grand piano. Measuring 5’1″ in length, this piano is in pristine condition and was well taken care of in a home environment. Our piano technicians have regulated and voiced this instrument to ensure improved responsiveness and a warm, yet clear quality of tone. Upon viewing and playing this musical instrument, it becomes evident why the KG series of pianos are among the best sellers in Kawai company history. The piano boasts a deep bass section and a clear, bell-like treble that goes beyond what one might initially expect out of a smaller grand piano. The piano’s belly (interior) includes a solid spruce soundboard, a multi-laminated maple pinblock, solid brass agraffes, and a V-pro cast iron plate. The interior of the piano has been cleaned and prepped to bring it back to a like-new condition.
The pianos’ cabinet is in a traditional case design with round arms and a beveled top lid, resting on spade legs. The cabinet also features solid brass hardware and a multi-position lid prop system. The high polish ebony finish has been polished by our piano refinishers to a like-new sheen. This piano will include a matching bench and free local ground floor delivery. All of our pre-owned pianos include a three-year warranty from Chupp’s Piano Service. It is not an exaggeration to say that this is one of the best values we have in our showroom today.
