1991 Yamaha C5 Grand Piano | Satin Ebony #F5010191
Yamaha has come to be known as one of the finest piano makers in the history of instrument manufacturing. Manufactured in Japan in 1991, Yamaha C5 Grand Piano #F5010191 measures 6’7″ in length. This beautiful instrument has been expertly refurbished by Chupp’s Piano Service Technicians to bring it back to its concert-level status. The satin ebony cabinet is in a typical round arm European/Asian style, resting on tapered, spade legs terminating in rich solid brass casters. The inner rim of the piano’s cabinet is finished in a natural mahogany. Additional features include an adjustable music desk, a multi-position lid prop system and brass cabinet hardware. The interior of the piano features a full-length rib reinforced solid spruce soundboard and a hard maple pinblock. The piano has been restrung with premium music wire and soft-copper wound bass strings. These have been affixed to new, blued tuning pins. The piano’s action has been fully regulated and voiced by our technicians. The instrument features a brand new set of Yamaha CX-Series hammers. This refurbishment and regulation process has resulted in a Yamaha grand piano that retains the trademark ‘Yamaha’ clarity. It boasts a full, rich quality of tone and responsive touch that stands apart from the crowd.
