2007 Steinway & Sons Model O Grand Piano | Polished Ebony – #583659
The Steinway & Sons Model O Grand Piano has long been a favorite of amateur and professional pianists alike. Well suited for both residential and institutional use, this ‘living room’ model has found itself at home in private and public venues around the world. Striking a balance between manageable size and power of tone, we have found this size of piano to be very popular. Steinway & Sons Model O #583659 was built in the New York Steinway Factory in 2007 and is in absolutely pristine condition. It is a well-cared for example of the continuation of historic grand piano craftsmanship.
The piano’s cabinet was finished at the factory in a high-gloss, polyester finish. This instrument is somewhat unique as it features not just a brass fallboard decal, but a large ‘Steinway & Sons’ side decal on the treble end of the cabinet as well. The cabinet is in superb condition and has been hand polished by our piano refinishers to ensure it gleams just like it did when it was new. This piano includes the matching Steinway branded Jansen Artists Bench. The original solid spruce soundboard remains free of any cracks and the original hard-maple pinblock holds the tuning pins tightly for excellent stability of tune. Our expert piano technicians have gone through the action and have completed the regulating and voicing work that is required to ensure responsiveness and a rich, Steinway quality of tone.
This instrument is among the newest Steinway Grand Pianos we have ever had in stock. It is obvious that this instrument was treasured and well cared for by its previous owner and you would be hard-pressed to tell it apart from a brand new Steinway instrument!
