2003 Yamaha GC1/DGC1A PE Grand Piano – Ebony – Excellent #6045795
The name ‘Yamaha’ has come to represent some of the finest quality in piano craftsmanship. Manufactured in Japan in 2003, Yamaha GC-1 ‘Baby’ Grand Piano #6045795 measures 5’3″ in length. This beautiful instrument was well-taken care of and is in excellent condition.
The polished ebony cabinet rests on tapered legs capped in rich brass ferrules. The inner rim is finished in natural mahogany. Additional features include an adjustable music desk, a multi-position lid prop system and brass case hardware and casters. The interior of the piano features a full-length rib-reinforced solid spruce soundboard, hard-maple pinblock and music wire formed out of the highest quality steel and copper. The nickel-plated tuning pins gleam against the bronzed, cast iron plate. Featuring the original Yamaha factory action parts, the action shows very little signs of wear. Our expert piano technicians have spent hours voicing and regulating this piano. This has resulted in a Yamaha grand piano that retains the trademark clarity but boasts a full, rich quality of tone and responsive touch that stands apart. A matching, padded bench is also included.
Yamaha GC-1 #6046795 came from the factory with an industry-leading Yamaha Disklavier player piano system installed. This has been updated directly by us to the latest DKC-850 system. But there is more! Not only does this piano feature the latest in Yamaha player piano technology, but this instrument also features an advanced silent system! With the press of a button, a bar flips down to block the hammers from the strings and activates the digital speaker or headphone jack.
